Day 1- Fly in to Ulgii and stay at hotel

You would get picked up at Ulgii airport by our English speaking guide and driver. Then you would get transferred to hotel. Before dinner we would take you to Nairamdal (Peace) peak. It is a nice short walk through the stairs to get to the top of Nairamdal peak. From there we would have great view of Ulgii town from top. After that we would have dinner at one of the well known restaurants in town.

Day 2 - Twin lakes

Today we are going to drive to one of the most beautiful place in Western Mongolia. This is the region where the Khoton & Khurgan lakes are. On the way we would stop by beautiful spots, to enjoy the view, to have break, to have lunch. We would pass through some high passes where you have chance to take landscape photos and get breathtaking view from up high. After a long yet a beautiful drive, we would get to Khoton lake area and set up our camp at lake shore, backed with beautiful snow caped mountain range which has the border line with China on top. Overnight in tent. Depending on our arrival time to our camp, if time allows we would visit local nomad family nearby. Elevation: 2087m Driving distance: 180km -BLD-

Day 3 - Horse trekking

Are you ready for another adventurous day? Mongolian horses are easier to manage and ride. After a short riding instruction we would saddle up our horses and would ride towards Zagastai river through beautiful scenic route. We would have trail side pack lunch on the way. You would love this riding experience on these tiny Mongolian horses, except the sour on your butt. 😉 oops . By afternoon we would return back to our camp. Overnight in tent - BLD -

Day 4 - Baga Turgen Waterfall

We would move forward to a beautiful valley of Baga Turgen. it is a short drive to our next camp. We would visit a historical site on the way then to Baga turgen parking area. While our crew sets up our camp, we would hike to waterfall. It would be a great short hiking of 3 kms one way. The view of the valley it self is incredible with year around snow caped mountains, forest and a beautiful waterfall falling from approximately 15meters up high. By end of the day we might have campfire at our camp. -BLD-

Day 5 - Altai Tavan Bogd Mountain

After a big western style breakfast we would move towards northern end of the Altai Tavan Bogd National park. We would drive through high passes, will cross rivers and stop by interesting places such as White river. (We have given a name "Yak Milk" to this river) While we moving forward you would recognize that the terrain changes almost every hour. By end of the day we would get to our camping spot. Overnight in tent. -BLD

Day 6 -Altai Tavan Bogd Base camp

We will visit one of the most beautiful part of Altai Tavan Bogd national park. In this remote corner where Mongolia, China, and Russia meet, we discover a beautiful swath of untouched wilderness, topped by the 14,000-foot peaks of Tavan Bogd. We would drive until presidential sacred ovoo, then would trek to the Potanin ice glacier. It is going to be 7 kms of round trip trek on rough terrain. Nairamdal Peak marks the triple border point common to Mongolia, Russia and China. Khuiten peak is the highest of Mongolia (4373m). After we enjoy this incredible view and trekking, we would drive back to our camp. Overnight in tent. Elevation at base camp: 3100m. -BLD-

DAY 7 - Visiting Eagle hunter & back to Ulgii.

We would drive heading back to Ulgii. On the way we would visit nomad eagle hunter family where we would get up close experience with eagle hunter and will get more information about eagle hunting. These are the last eagle hunters of the world, as the number of true/real eagle hunters are shrinking! We would drive further and get to Ulgii by afternoon. You would stay at ger camp in Ulgii. *Ger -is Mongolian nomad tent. -BLD:Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner-

DAY 8-Departure to UB or other destination

We would pick up you at 10:00am from your hotel. After visiting many nomads families and getting know about local culture, it would be meaningful to visit local museum. Here at this museum you would get introduced about culture, history and nature. Then we would take you to local bazaar, and then to souvenir shop. We would have lunch together then you would get transferred to airport. (BL)
