Boba
Started as assistant, helper for the camp crew. Fluent in Russian and speaks English. Have been in our team for about 5 years. Have led many tours in Western Mongolia.
This has been an awesome trip. It was more the experience rather than a holiday. This was made better with Dosjan and his team. Dosjan is very detailed and helpful, not to mention knowledgeable and speaks fluent English as well. All our day to day arrangements were all well taken care of. The tour itself was very back to basics which is what Mongolia is about and has to offer. I especially enjoyed the rides in the Land cruisers, across and over mountains, a simulation of National Geographic. What left an impression was the day Dosjan arranged for our own eagle hunting trip. This allows first-hand experience on the activity itself, which i never expected from the tour at all. I really enjoyed this day, it was so surreal. You will need a network of eagle hunters for this experience to happen and Dosjan does know a lot of them. For the Eagle Hunting Festival, both days were relaxed and enjoyable. The weather was very kind to us too. Dosjan made sure we had our own private tents and toilet and food was prepared hot for us to warm our stomachs. This tour is not taxing at all. Unlike many other tours whereby all one does is rush from place to place, having to wake up at 6am every morning. Nothing of this sort from Dosjan. Dosjan and his crew of drivers and cooks took care of us very well. I thank them and will highly recommend them for future visits to other visitors.
